Use Path Redirect for Off-Site Redirects

Published June 8, 2009

Drupal's core "Path" module is a great way to rename a URL on your Drupal site to something more user-friendly. Instead of telling a potential client that your "services" page is at www.example.com/node/324, you can just tell them to go to example.com/services.

But what happens if you want to redirect the user off your site? The Path module can't handle this, but the Path Redirect module does. You can even set the specific HTTP Redirect Status for each redirect - if you're into that sort of thing.
