Join Mike Anello as he uses Rector (and a bit of manual labor) to update some traditional Drupal hooks to object-oriented hooks (introduced in Drupal core 11.1.)
Mike is joined by subject matter expert Nic Laflin, one of the Drupal community members leading the charge in object-oriented hooks in Drupal.
Mike and Nic discover some limitations during the process, but overcome them to successfully update all hooks in the Markdown Easy contrib module to backwards-compatible object-oriented hooks. Additionally, Nic provides an excellent introduction to the "autowire" keyword in Drupal *.services.yml files.
