When you sign up for a DrupalEasy Webinar, you'll automatically get access to your own personal Drupal sandbox on WebEnabled.com. For each webinar, we'll customize your sandbox with all the modules, themes, and code that we'll use during the lesson. During some webinars, we may even ask everyone to complete a task in their sandbox to reinforce something we covered.
While activating your WebEnabled sandbox is not mandatory to participate in a DrupalEasy Webinar, it is strongly recommended to get the most out of the lesson.
Access to the sandbox is part of a free trial account that you'll receive with WebEnabled. No credit card is necessary to activate your trial account.
Prior to each webinar, we'll send you an email with instructions for accessing the workshop and setting up your WebEnabled sandbox. The link in this email to set up your sandbox will look something like this:
This signup page allows you to create a free account with WebEnabled as well as configuring your Drupal sandbox. Looking at each field:
Actually, you should receive 2 email messages: one to set up your WebEnabled password and one indicating that your WebEnabled application (your sandbox) has been configured. First, the WebEnabled password email:
Since the WebEnabled site itself is built with Drupal this email should be familiar to anyone who uses Drupal. Simply click the one-time login link and you'll be brought to your WebEnabled user account page where you can set your password. You can also upload a profile picture and adjust some user settings if you desire.
The second email contains information about your WebEnabled application - this is the "sandbox" that you'll have access to for the DrupalEasy Webinar.
The first link in the email leads to your sandbox - the Drupal site that we've pre-built specificially for your webinar. The second link leads to your WebEnabled.com Dashboard. Clicking the first link, you should see your new DrupalEasy Webinar sandbox, complete with modules, themes, and code pre-installed based on the webinar you signed up for. To login as the "admin" user (Drupal User 1), you'll need to utilize the "Request new password" function from your sandbox:
Once you've reset your sandbox password, you should be ready for your DrupalEasy Webinar!
Your main WebEnabled Dashboard will provide you with access to many other options. Additional information on using your Dashboard (and other WebEnabled functions) if available in the WebEnabled Help area.

Clicking on this link (or pasting it into your browser's address bar) will bring you to a page on the WebEnabled site that looks like this:
- Username
- Enter your desired username.
- Email address
- Enter your email address - this will be used to confirm and/or reset your password.
- Business information
- "First name", "Last name", and "Company/Group" are self-explanatory. The "WebEnabled subdomain" allows you to customize the URL where you can access your WebEnabled Dashboard at. For example, if you set it to "johnsmith", then your WebEnabled Dashboard URL will be "http://johnsmith.webenabled.com".
- Plan feature enhancements
- Feel free to select any enhancements you desire. If, in the future, an enhancement is required for a DrupalEasy webinar, we'll let you know.
