Your tier depends on the size and complexity of your site, and most Small, Medium, and Large upgrades are completed within 2 weeks of project start.

Small

$3,000

  • Drupal 9 or 10
  • Up to 15 content types, vocabularies, and paragraph types
  • Under 5,000 pieces of content
  • Little custom code
  • No search, or Drupal core search

Medium

Starting at

$6,000

  • Drupal 7 or 8
  • Up to 40 content types, vocabularies, and paragraph types
  • Up to 50,000 pieces of content
  • A moderate amount of custom code
  • Two languages, basic content workflows, or one integration

Large

Starting at

$12,000

  • Up to 80 content types, vocabularies, and paragraph types
  • Up to 250,000 pieces of content
  • A substantial amount of custom code
  • Three or more languages, complex content workflows, or 2–3 integrations

Custom

Pricing

Quoted after review

  • Drupal Commerce
  • Multisite
  • Decoupled or headless front end
  • Self-managed or shared hosting
  • No Git repository or remote development environment
  • Anything larger than the Large tier

Your tier is set by the most complex part of your site. For example, a site that is Small in every respect but has two languages is a Medium project. Starting prices are preliminarily based on your assessment; we provide a final estimate once we have a clear understanding of the entire project.

What makes a project Custom?

Some sites need a closer look before we can quote a price. Your project is Custom if it includes any of the following:

  • Drupal Commerce
  • A Drupal multisite installation
  • A decoupled (headless) front end
  • Hosting on a self-managed server or shared hosting, rather than a managed Drupal host such as Pantheon, Acquia, Upsun, or amazee.io
  • Site code that is not in a Git repository, or no remote development environment
  • More than 3 external integrations, such as CRMs, payment gateways, or private APIs
  • More than 10 modules without a Drupal 11 version
  • A files directory larger than 75 GB, or more than 250,000 pieces of content

Custom does not mean out of reach. It means a member of our team will review your assessment and follow up with questions before we provide an estimate.

Trusted AI, verified by humans

We are up-front about how we work. AI tools make it much faster to upgrade a site between major Drupal versions, and that is why we can offer these prices. Speed is only useful when you can trust the result, so we take a brains-on approach always – people stay in charge throughout:

  • Experienced Drupal developers manage the entire process.
  • All custom code is reviewed by a developer before it is committed to your repository.
  • Modern, industry-standard tools are used throughout, including Composer, PHP_CodeSniffer, and PHPStan.
