Drupal Career Online Scholarships & Fellowships

Scholarship applications for the Fall 2022 session, which begins August 29th, 2022, are open. 

If you would like to be considered for any of the scholarship programs available for the Fall 2022 Drupal Career Online session, please submit a Drupal Career Online application before August 8th, and and indicate which organizations you would like to apply to/have review your DCO application.  

 

Palantir.net

Two full fellowships available for the Spring 2022 DCO session

Eligibility: Specifically for those who have experienced marginalization due to racism, misogyny, transphobia or other forms of discrimination or are members of a marginalized community that has been underrepresented in the technology sector. Candidates must meet the background requirements, apply to, and be accepted to Drupal Career Online. Only U.S. Citizens or those who hold an active work visa are eligible. 

Award: Full scholarship to cover the cost of Drupal Career Online and need-based support stipends. Paid Internship or junior developer position with Palantir, dependent on level of experience and capabilities upon graduation from Drupal Career Online. 

Requirements: In order to be considered for a Palantir Fellowship, recipients must commit to a paid internship and/or staff position at Palantir. 

Application: Submit a Drupal Career Online application before January 24, 2022 and indicate that you would like to apply to the Palantir.net fellowship.  Palantir will follow up with you, your application will be reviewed and Fellowship awards will be announced on February 4, 2022.  


 

Bounteous Logo

One available for the Spring 2022 DCO session

Eligibility: Focused on those who are part of historically-excluded populations in technology, especially Women; Black, Indigenous, and other Persons of Color; LGBTQIA+ or Individuals with disabilities. Candidates must meet the background requirements, apply to, and be accepted to Drupal Career Online. Only U.S. and Canadian Citizens are eligible. 

Scholarship Award: Full scholarship to cover Drupal Career Online tuition and paid apprenticeship with Bounteous.

Requirements: In order to be considered for a Bounteous Fellowship, recipients must commit to a paid apprenticeship and/or staff position at Bounteous. 

Application: Submit a Drupal Career Online application before January 24, 2022 and indicate that you would like to apply to the Bounteous Scholarship program.  Bounteous will follow up with you, your application will be reviewed and awards will be announced on February 4, 2022.  


Four Kitchens

Four Kitchens

One available for the Spring 2022 DCO session

Eligibility: We are looking to sponsor candidates who are underrepresented in the tech community, due to ethnicity, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, economic status, and other diverse backgrounds. Candidates must meet the background requirements, apply, and be accepted to Drupal Career Online. In addition to this, candidates must align with Four Kitchens’ Core Values and be able to convey which of these values resonates with them most. Only U.S. citizens are eligible.

Award: Full scholarship to cover the cost of Drupal Career Online. Paid Associate Developer position with Four Kitchens, dependent on the candidate's level of experience and capabilities upon graduation from Drupal Career Online. 

Requirements: In order to be considered for a Four Kitchens Fellowship, recipients must commit to a paid Associate Developer position at Four Kitchens. 

Application: Submit a Drupal Career Online application before January 24th and indicate that you would like to apply to the Four Kitchens fellowship.  Four Kitchens will follow up with you, your application will be reviewed and Fellowship awards will be announced on February 24, 2022.

Discover Drupal

Because of program timing, there are no Discover Drupal scholarships available for the Spring 2022 session. Please check back for future opportunities. 

Eligibility: Individuals who are 18 years or older and identify as BIPOC. Candidates must meet the background requirements, apply to, and be accepted to Drupal Career Online.

Award: Training scholarships, (also to other Drupal programs,) internships, refurbished laptop, scholarship to DrupalCon, mentoring from Drupal community members, and connections to potential employers. 

Requirements: Students must commit to completing the full training program, work with a mentor and engage in an internship after training.
